At the close of each Lacrosse season, we take time out to recognize all those individuals that have given more than their required time to make this sport an outstanding experience for all. We are surrounded by amazing volunteers that should be recognized as heroes of the game. We also recognize all the athletes that give of their mind, body and soul to this great game. Queen City Minor Box Lacrosse is pleased to honour these individuals with awards. These awards are handed out annually at the QCMBL AGM.
QCMBL JUNIOR LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Must be a Registered QCMBL Junior Box player between the age of 17 -21.
QCMBL LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR U11-U17 Divisions - MALE
Must be a Registered QCMBL Male Minor Box player between the age of 8-16
QCMBL LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE YEAR U11-U17 Divisions - FEMALE
Must be a Registered QCMBL Female Minor Box player between the age of 8-16
QCMBL POSITIVE COACH OF THE YEAR U11-U17 Divisions
This organization is about more than sports. In addition to teaching skills and strategies, we encourage QCMBL coaches to be positive role models and help players develop positive character traits and increased self-esteem and self-confidence. To reinforce this we will select coaches from each QCMBL division that embody the values of the Positive Coaching Alliance for the Positive Coach Award.

The QCMBL Level 1 Referee of the Year Award is given annually to a level 1 official who has demonstrated commitment and excellence as a box lacrosse official. The award is determined by nomination from the QCMBL officiating group and Referee Scheduler and is based on:

QCMBL LACROSSE BOB RYAN VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
The QCMBL Volunteer of the Year Award was created to recognize the achievements and efforts of volunteers who have dedicated numerous hours of their time to Queen City Minor Box Lacrosse at the Board, Team Manager, Committee or Parent level. The award is named in honour of the late Mr. Bob Ryan, a former lacrosse coach, community volunteer and Past President of the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association from Regina.
QCMBL LACROSSE PRESIDENT’S AWARD
This award, the QCMBL President's Award was created to promote and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism by annually giving the QCMBL President an opportunity to acknowledge and thank an individual or individual(s) who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to lacrosse within the QCMBL organization. This award is selected by the President of QCMBL.
